2012 Kohl's American Cup Information

Oregon Youth Soccer is pleased to announce the immediate availability of registration for the 2012 edition of the Kohl’s American Cup.
 
What it is:
The Kohl’s American Cup is a soccer tournament for recreational teams that is held in every US Youth Soccer State Association. Kohl’s Department Stores sponsors the tournament throughout the United States. Kohl’s supports the event through grants and volunteer services by its employees in the area where the event is held.
 
This is a tournament for RECREATIONAL teams. Participating teams must be registered with OYSA and play in an OYSA sanctioned recreational league. Every player on a participating team must play at least ½ of each game his or her team plays in the tournament.
 
Tournament details:
Dates: October 20th and 21st, 2012
Location: Cascade Soccer Complex in Salem, Oregon (view map)
Ages: Boys and Girls at ages U10 through U14.
Awards: Medals for First and Second place in each age/gender division
Entry Fee: $295
Enter By: October 9th, 2012
 
Registrars and Coaches:
Teams enter this event through the Affinity online software. A team needs to be formed in Affinity and be activated in order to enter this tournament. Teams are required to have player cards for this event. Registrars, be prepared to assist your teams to enter. Players and Parents:
This tournament is a great opportunity for fun competition against teams you do not see in your league. Feedback from those who have participated has been very positive. Talk to your teammates and coaches about entering the tournament. Come join in the fun!
