COLLEGE SHOWCASE GAME SCHEDULE

College Showcase – March 8 & 9, 2025

On March 8, 2025 weekend Oregon Youth Soccer will be hosting its inaugural College Showcase.

A multitude of other leagues like ECNL & GA provide great opportunities for players in selected clubs to travel, nearly always by air, to participate in college showcases around the country. While these experiences often result in great college coach exposure the cost to participate in those programs, and the additional cost incurred with travel, meals, and hotel stay make it extremely cost-prohibitive for the average family.

This travel-showcase model also doesn’t service the majority of players within clubs at OYSA.

We want to fix that. This is a showcase for the rest of you!

During the OYSA College Showcase weekend, we will have coaches from around the country, but predominantly the West Coast, and Pacific Northwest attend a dedicated showcase in Salem, to watch our top U17 & U18 teams across two days of action.

These coaches will represent a large number of Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior/Community Colleges from all over, where they will watch our high school aged boys and girl’s teams compete in a centralized location.

COST TO PARTICIPATE
It will not cost you anything to be a part of the College Showcase.
These will be the regular league games for these teams.
There will be no added cost to those teams. No air travel for those families. No hotel stays. No meal funding. It will be the regularly scheduled games, all together on one weekend, in one place.

This will take place on March 8 & 9, 2025

WHICH COLLEGES WILL BE THERE
Invitations will go out shortly, and we will post colleges who have committed to be there.

VIDEO FOOTAGE
We all know that having a video ready to go is key to being noticed when you’re reaching out to colleges. Most of the games at the college showcase will be recorded by teams, and we will help facilitate everyone getting a copy of those games so that every participating player will have access to footage from their game.

GETTING PLAYERS READY
We will be partnering with a college recruiting company who will walk players through the steps necessary to create their own college recruiting processes and giving them the tips and tricks to be seen on the day.

We will be hosting a webinar for our players and their families with instructions how to set up a recruiting account, how to reach out to colleges attending, and how to maximize your potential for the upcoming showcase.
