Why We Sanction

Oregon Youth Soccer sanctions local leagues to provide a standard process where coaches, parents and players can easily know that the leagues they are considering adhere to specific guidelines including referee standards, league rules, field standards, game time, referees and spectator regulations.

OYSA is also able to then publish the list of sanctioned leagues to provide a directory of approved competitions for the membership to find opportunities in their area.
